Joshua M. Bowman, partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate departments, was published in the New England Real Estate Journal on June 21, 2019. His article, “Performance Termination Clauses in Hotel Management Agreements,” explains how, and in what cases, a hotel owner can terminate a hotel operator’s long-term hotel management agreement (HMA), such as in the case the hotel does not achieve an agreed-upon percentage of the gross operating profit (GOP).
