John C. La Liberte speaks at MCLE Business Litigation Conference
John C. La Liberte, chair of the firm’s Bankruptcy and Creditor Rights Group, served as a panelist during the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education’s (MCLE) 19th Annual Business Litigation Conference on February 7, 2020. His session, titled “How Strong Is Your Client’s—and the Other Side’s Armor?” covered how to reach and protect your assets and what is available inside and outside of bankruptcy.
John is also co-chair of the Business Litigation, Construction Law and Real Estate Litigation Practice Groups. Additionally, he serves as the firm’s General Counsel. John concentrates his practice in business litigation, bankruptcy-related litigation, complex commercial disputes, including intellectual property and trade secret related litigation, product liability litigation, and commercial landlord/tenant disputes.
MCLE is a nonprofit corporation organized pursuant to Chapter 180 of the Massachusetts General Laws and Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. It is governed by a board of trustees and assisted by curriculum advisory committees addressing nine distinct areas of legal practice.
