Ronald W. Ruth appointed to the Housing Needham (HONE) Advisory Group

Ronald W. Ruth, co-chair of the firm’s Environmental Law Group and a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, was recently appointed a member of the Housing Needham (HONE) Advisory Group, which is made up of nine Needham residents.

The HONE Advisory Group was established jointly by the Town of Needham’s Select Board and Planning Board in 2023. Members of the HONE Advisory Group will lead the community engagement process to create multi-family zoning that complies with the MBTA Communities Act (MGL c.40A Section 3A). The group will advise the Select Board and Planning Board on proposed zoning to bring to the Needham Town Meeting in 2024, informed by the group’s individual expertise, group deliberations, and feedback received from the public.

Ron previously served as chair and a member of the Town of Needham Planning Board from 2008-2013.
