Happy Holidays from Sherin and Lodgen

Sherin and Lodgen wishes you a happy and healthy holiday season!

We are proud to be an active member of our community, especially during the holiday season. This year, we have made a donation to The Upward Project, a career-development program for high-achieving, first-generation college students from low-income families. The Upward Project team begins working with students during the summer before they begin college and stays with them through the first year of their post-college career. Throughout the five-year program, they provide career development counseling, academic coaching, financial support, and serve as a support structure whenever challenges arise.

Donations to The Upward Project contribute to providing participants in the program with financial support for career-advancing opportunities such as internship programs, social and networking opportunities, covering expenses associated with short-term crises that could otherwise derail a semester or a college career, and providing each participant in the program with a laptop, a book stipend, and new professional attire.
