Richard Heller presented on the Strafford webinar, “Negotiating Commercial Lease Casualty Provisions: Insurance, Termination Rights, Tenant Improvements,” on August 15. Rick and fellow panelists discussed structuring casualty provisions in commercial leases; how insurance may affect a casualty event; rent abatements available to tenants; how casualty provisions may affect landlords’ and tenants’ termination rights; and how to best preserve tenant improvements.

With over 40 years of experience, he advises corporations and businesses on a broad range of business and legal matters.
