Nancy S. Shilepsky appointed to MBA’s Labor & Employment Section Council

Nancy S. Shilepsky, partner in the firm’s Employment Department, has been appointed to the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Labor & Employment Section Council. The MBA’s Labor & Employment Section brings together representatives of employees, employers, labor organizations, the neutral sector, state and federal agencies, and arbitrators and mediators to provide a forum for all segments of the labor and employment bar. As a member of the Council, Nancy will help steer the work of the Section and keep current with developments in employment law. Her council term begins on September 1, 2021 and continues until August 31, 2022.

Nancy is a leading influence in the world of executive advocacy, employment law and employment litigation. She is a champion of the interests of individuals and a trusted counselor to executives and professionals across a wide range of industries. Nancy has established a nationally recognized practice representing such clients in complex matters involving executive employment and compensation. She is also known for her pioneering work in wrongful termination and discrimination cases. Her work includes a high-profile sexual harassment case involving the impact of the First Amendment on workplace speech restrictions and a landmark case dealing with the eradication of race-based discrimination in compensation.
