Sherin and Lodgen congratulates our client, LBA Logistics, on a recent ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating the construction of six rooftop community solar projects across four industrial properties in Maryland. These solar projects are in collaboration with Summit Ridge Energy and Black Bear Energy. The first project site is expected to be up and running in Q3 of 2023, with the other five sites scheduled to be up and running in Q1 or Q2 of 2024.
These six rooftop solar projects total over 17 MW and are part of the Maryland Community Solar program, providing low-cost renewable energy to nearby residents. The projects are located on the rooftops of industrial assets owned and managed by LBA Logistics. These sites will generate over 25 million kWh of electricity annually.
The S&L team was led by Douglas M. Henry and Jennifer Ioli Connelly, partners. Our role included drafting and negotiating the rooftop leases.
