Congratulations to our clients, Nia Grace and Big Night Entertainment Group (BNEG), on the grand opening of Grace by Nia in Boston’s Seaport. Grace by Nia is a collaboration between restauranteur and Roxbury native Nia Grace, owner of Darryl’s Corner Bar & Kitchen and The Underground Cafe + Lounge, and BNEG. The 5,000-square-foot, tiered space is styled as a modern-day “Supper Club,” complete with a speakeasy lounge with signature cocktails, a stage for live jazz, R&B, blues and funk music and restaurant seating. The highly anticipated restaurant located on Seaport Boulevard opened on Thursday, May 11, 2023.

The Sherin and Lodgen team, led by Robert M. Carney, partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, represented BNEG in extensive lease negotiations, construction related matters, debt and equity matters including private placement memoranda, and related matters.

Founded in 2006 by veteran nightclub owners Ed Kane and Joe Kane, along with marketing and entertainment expert Randy Greenstein, Big Night exists to create unique dining and nightlife experiences that transcend tradition and status quo.
