Edward M. Bloom chairs MCLE seminar on Negotiating and Drafting Office and Retail Leases

Edward M. Bloom, partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department, chaired a Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education seminar on May 22, 2019 which aimed to assist those developing a leasing practice, as well as experienced practitioners seeking to sharpen their skills. The program covered key similarities between office and retail leases, as well as components that are unique to each. Ed and fellow faculty also analyzed how retail leasing has been affected by the Internet and e-commerce, and how office leasing has been impacted by millennials in the work force.
