Gavriela M. Bogin-Farber presents at MCLE Webinar on legal issues in returning to the office in the post-pandemic world

Gavriela M. Bogin-Farber presented at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) webinar, “Legal Issues in Returning to the Office in the Post-Pandemic World,” on Monday, June 14, 2021. During the program on handling employee requests for increased flexibility as businesses re-open, Gavi discussed state and federal leave laws; legal accommodations for employee disabilities; best practices for engaging in the interactive process with employees with disabilities; and addressing remote work requests as a reasonable accommodation.

Gavi is a senior associate and member of the firm’s Employment Department. She represents individuals in all aspects of employment negotiations and litigation, including discrimination, wage and hour disputes, retaliation, and wrongful termination. Bogin-Farber has litigated cases before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and in state and federal court. She also advises professionals and executives regarding separation agreements, employment agreements, and ongoing workplace issues. From 2016-2018, she served as an Executive Committee member and Co-Chair of the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association’s (MELA) Program Committee. This year, she was re-elected to serve as President of MELA for the 2021-2022 term.
