Jonathan F.X. O’Brien presents to French entrepreneurs during “Immersion Week” hosted by the French Consulate in Boston
Jonathan F.X. O’Brien, partner in the firm’s Business Law and Real Estate departments, presented, “Establishing a Presence in the US Market,” to French entrepreneurs during “Immersion Week” held at the Cambridge Innovation Center and was a juror for the pitches made by the attendees. Hosted by the Consulate General of France in Boston along with Business France, French American Chamber of Commerce New England (FACCNE), and its subgroup the French American Biotech Springboard (FABS), Immersion Week is a program designed to help early-stage French tech companies to learn about Boston’s life sciences ecosystem and connect with relevant stakeholders in academia, industry and business.
The Consulate General of France in Boston has the mission of maintaining relations with the political, economic, scientific and cultural circles of New England in order to make France better known to them and thus establish a climate of dialogue and of cooperation. “Immersion Week” gathers French entrepreneurs that have been invited to come to the U.S. to explore business opportunities and to practice pitching their biotech businesses to U.S. investors.
