Sherin and Lodgen’s Debra Squires-Lee Named Fellow of Litigation Counsel of America (LCA)

Boston, MA, June 13, 2016 – Boston law firm Sherin and Lodgen LLP announces that Debra Squires-Lee, co-chair of the firm’s Business Litigation and Professional Liability Practice Groups, has been selected as a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America. An experienced trial lawyer, Squires-Lee concentrates on legal malpractice defense and complex commercial litigation. She defends lawyers and law firms in professional malpractice cases and before the Board of Bar Overseers. She also defends companies in “bet the company” litigation, including defense of trade secret misappropriation claims, complex contract disputes, and claims for violation of C. 93A.

In October 2014, Squires-Lee was appointed by the Justices of the Supreme Judicial Court to the Board of Bar Examiners for a five-year term. The Board is responsible for examining the character and fitness of all applicants to the bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has also served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Scituate Animal Shelter, a 501(c )(3) non-profit animal shelter, since 2014.

The LCA is a trial lawyer honorary society composed of less than one-half of one percent of American lawyers. Fellowship in the LCA is highly selective and by invitation only.
