Sara Jane Shanahan Co-Chairs and Presents at MCLE’s 24th Annual Business Litigation Conference

Managing Partner Sara Jane Shanahan co-chaired and presented at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) in-person 24th Annual Business Litigation Conference on February 7. Sara and her co-chair led a discussion of the top business litigation cases of 2024, and Sara moderated the Business Litigation Session Judicial Panel.

As managing partner at the firm, Sara’s practice focuses on complex business litigation and insurance coverage disputes. She represents a diverse range of clients, including investment managers, property owners, national retailers, insurers, insureds, and shareholders of closely-held corporations. Outside the office, Sara is an active contributor to the legal and charitable communities. She has held various leadership positions with the Boston Bar Association, including Council Member and co-chair of the Administration of Justice Section, and served on the Women’s Bar Association’s Women’s Leadership Initiative. Sara is also a regular speaker and contributor to programs for Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. (MCLE), and teaches in the Trial Advocacy Workshop during winter term at Harvard Law School. Additionally, she has served on the Board of Directors for the Wellesley Club, and is currently a member of the Board of Trustees for Ursuline Academy in Dedham, MA.

The conference will rebroadcast on Tuesday, February 25 at 12:00 p.m. and Wednesday, March 5 at 11:00 a.m.
