Sara Jane Shanahan moderates panel at MBA’s Fourth Annual Complex Commercial Litigation Conference
Sara Jane Shanahan, chair of the firm’s Litigation Department, moderated the panel, Trending Issues in Business Litigation, Intellectual Property and Bankruptcy: Insights from Leading Attorney Practitioners, at the Massachusetts Bar Association’s (MBA) Fourth Annual Complex Commercial Litigation Conference on April 23, 2019.
The conference covered pressing issues in three substantive litigation areas: business, intellectual property, and bankruptcy. Shanahan’s panel discussed recent cases concerning fiduciary duty and Anti-SLAPP litigation, the in pari delicto defense, rejection of trademark licenses in bankruptcy, copyright registration requirements in infringement cases, and the new Massachusetts Uniform Trade Secrets Act.
Sara’s practice focuses on complex business litigation and insurance coverage disputes.
