Sherin and Lodgen adds Jonathan F.X. O’Brien to its Business Law and Real Estate departments
Sherin and Lodgen is pleased to announce the addition of experienced business law and commercial real estate attorney Jonathan F.X. O’Brien as a partner in the firm’s Business Law and Real Estate departments. Jonathan joins with particular expertise representing clients in corporate formation, contract negotiation, joint ventures, licensing, resolution of shareholder and director disputes, mergers and acquisitions, and the purchase and sale of assets.
Committed to the sustainable and elevated development of the New England coast and its resources, Jonathan is focused on his “blue economy” practice, engaged with clients in aquaculture projects and ocean-based technologies and opportunities, which include aspects such as vessel finance, equipment leasing, and purchasing, sustainable seafood and fisheries. He is licensed to practice in Massachusetts, Paris, and New York, and leverages his prior experience in the United States and abroad on behalf of his clients.
Jonathan earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and completed his undergraduate degree in French literature with honors at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
