Peter D. McCarthy has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Litigation Department. With over a decade of litigation and client counseling experience, Peter has represented corporate, government, and individual clients across jurisdictions and ADR forums to resolve civil litigation and alternative dispute resolution, civil and criminal government investigations, regulatory compliance obligations, and strategic negotiations. He provides practical and client-focused guidance to secure favorable resolutions.
Prior to joining Sherin and Lodgen, Peter served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Trial Division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, defending the Commonwealth, its agencies, divisions, officials, and employees in federal and state civil litigation. Sherin and Lodgen’s Managing Partner Douglas M. Henry said, “Peter augments our robust litigation expertise, particularly related to construction matters. His trial experience and industry knowledge will be an asset to our clients, who rely on us to resolve a wide variety of increasingly complex litigation.”
