Sherin and Lodgen managing partner Sara Jane Shanahan elected President of the Wellesley Club

Sherin and Lodgen is pleased to announce managing partner Sara Jane Shanahan has been elected President of the Wellesley Club in Massachusetts. A Club member since 2004, Sara has served in various leadership roles since 2014, including Secretary (2014-2018) and most recently as Vice President. She was officially installed as president on March 20, 2023.

As Sherin and Lodgen’s managing partner, Sara oversees day-to-day firm operations, including nearly 50 lawyers specializing in real estate, litigation, business law, and employment. She also directs client, recruiting, and community initiatives, while continuing to represent clients in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.

The Wellesley Club is a civic organization that was founded in 1889 soon after the Town of Wellesley, Massachusetts was established. The Club’s mission is to promote literary and social culture among its members, with a focus on discussions relating to the welfare of the Town of Wellesley.
