Sherin and Lodgen partner Joshua M. Bowman inducted into the International Society of Hospitality Consultants

Sherin and Lodgen is pleased to announce that attorney Joshua M. Bowman was inducted into the International Society of Hospitality Consultants (ISHC) 2024 membership class.

ISHC is a leading source of global hospitality expertise. ISHC members have a reputation of integrity and are qualified by their experience, training, and knowledge to develop and express sound judgment on industry issues. Represented by more than 200 of the industry’s most respected professionals from across six continents, ISHC members have experience in virtually every segment of the hospitality industry.

Membership in ISHC is by invitation only. To qualify, candidates must primarily focus their professional activities in hospitality consulting, have at least 5 years of experience, be an owner, officer, partner, or principal of their company, and undergo a rigorous screening process. Many ISHC members also serve on prominent industry boards and as mentors and guest lecturers at leading colleges and universities worldwide.

Josh is a partner in Sherin and Lodgen’s Real Estate and Business Law Departments, and chair of the firm’s Hospitality Practice Group. In his law practice, Josh counsels local and national real estate owners and developers, institutional and non-institutional lenders, investors, tenants, contractors, and other businesses in connection with a wide variety of transactions and situations. Josh’s expertise extends well beyond the hospitality industry, but he routinely handles hotel and restaurant management agreements, franchise agreements, hotel and restaurant acquisitions and sales, liquor license issues, private placements, joint venture arrangements, and leasing. Josh also teaches multiple classes at the Boston University School of Hospitality and is a member of the BU School of Hospitality’s Real Estate Advisory Board.
