Sherin and Lodgen represents Boylston Properties in financing of Hampton Inn by Hilton at Arsenal Yards

Sherin and Lodgen represented an affiliate of Boylston Properties in a $33 million construction financing for a Hampton Inn by Hilton at Arsenal Yards. Financing was provided by Cambridge Savings Bank. The 146-room hotel will be constructed at Arsenal Yards in Watertown, MA, a redevelopment of the old Arsenal Mall. In addition to the hotel, Arsenal Yards will include 250,000 sq. ft. of retail space and restaurants, 200,000 sq. ft. of office and lab space, and 300 apartments. The Sherin and Lodgen team was led by Gary M. Markoff, partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate Departments, and included Paula G. Curry, partner in the Real Estate Department, and Donna Haskins, Real Estate Paralegal.

In addition to financing of the Hampton Inn, Paula and fellow Sherin and Lodgen Real Estate partners Peter Friedenberg and Gary D. Buchman, have been representing Arsenal Yards in connection with development matters and retail, office, and lab leasing.
