Sherin and Lodgen sponsors BARCC’s Champions for Change Gala & Auction
Sherin and Lodgen sponsored the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center’s (BARCC) Champions for Change Gala & Auction on November 1, 2019. This year’s gala recognized Cambridge Redevelopment Authority for purchasing 93–99 Bishop Allen Drive to serve as a nonprofit hub where survivors will continue to have a dedicated space for healing at BARCC’s long-term Cambridge office and featured survivor speaker, Sohaili Abdulali – leading advocate, best-selling author, and BARCC’s first full-time employee.
Robert M. Carney, chair of the firm’s Real Estate Department, Bethany A. Bartlett, chair of the firm’s Renewable Energy Practice Group and partner in it’s Real Estate Department, and Caroline Woodward, of counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Department, attended the event.
Founded in 1973, BARCC is the only comprehensive rape crisis center in the Greater Boston area and the oldest and largest center of its kind in New England. Our mission is to end sexual violence through healing and social change.
