Unsatisfied PPP Loans May Pose Challenges to Hotel Transactions
Joshua M. Bowman, chair of the Sherin and Lodgen’s Hospitality Practice Group, and Joseph Y. Wang, partner in the firm’s Real Estate Department and Hospitality Practice Group, were published in the New England Real Estate Journal (NEREJ) on March 19, 2021. Their article, “Unsatisfied PPP Loans may pose challenges to hotel transactions,” details approval rights by Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) lenders that, if required, may cause significant delays for hotel owners eager to close a hotel sale or recapitalization.
