Our Firm
Careers
Sherin and Lodgen is a challenging and rewarding place to work-professionally and personally. We offer a place to build a career performing sophisticated legal work for valued clients in a firm culture that encourages diversity and community service.
We’re proud of our camaraderie and supportive culture, which are assets apparent to clients and friends of the firm. While we’re known for a strong work ethic, our firm strives to achieve a work/life balance.
Each of our new lawyers has ample access to continuing legal education, mentoring, and other career development training, both in and outside the office.
Clients expect us to be leaders-both as lawyers and citizens. This drives our civic-mindedness as a firm. It also explains why we encourage our attorneys and staff to be involved in their communities and active in their personal causes.
We look for ways to celebrate client and individual successes firm-wide. There are several social occasions throughout the year, including the firm’s summer outing and holiday party. Monthly in-house wine and cheese parties are popular, as well as monthly lawyers’ lunches featuring guest speakers.
In 2024, the firm was named to U.S. News & World Report’s inaugural list of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms. The list recognizes the country’s top law firms based on factors that are important to employee well-being and job satisfaction, including quality of pay and benefits, work-life balance and flexibility, job and company stability, physical and psychological comfort, belongingness and esteem, and career opportunities and professional development.
