Our Firm
Staff
Sherin and Lodgen hires paralegals, legal assistants, practice coordinators, and support staff who demonstrate professionalism, dedication, and enthusiasm in all that they do. We train, mentor, and educate our staff in the latest law firm technology and in our commitment to high-level client service. We have a strong work ethic, a low turnover rate, and are committed to providing a work environment that fosters teamwork and professional growth.
At Sherin and Lodgen, paralegals and support staff members play an essential role in creating a thriving work environment, and are recognized as a vital part of the success of the firm as a whole. We offer:
-
A platform to learn.
Sherin and Lodgen seeks ways to identify and create resources for paralegals, legal assistants and support staff to further develop their skills. The firm strongly encourages training and continued education, through both in-person training, e-learning platforms, and mentorship opportunities.
-
Exposure to high level legal work.
Paralegals and support staff are expected to immerse themselves in all aspects of their job. We pride ourselves on fostering working relationships that promote employee growth. Paralegals and support staff are exposed to a varying degree of legal cases and thought-provoking work, and are encouraged to ask questions and engage as much as possible.
-
A collegial environment.
Sherin and Lodgen prides itself on being a down-to-earth, enjoyable place to come to work. We seek opportunities for staff members to work together and hold activities outside the office, such as our annual Staff Appreciation, Summer Outing, Community Service Days, and Holiday Party, for employees to come together socially.
The firm offers a compensation package for staff competitive with mid-size Boston firms and a generous benefits package competitive with most law firms in the city. We offer comprehensive family medical, dental, and vison insurance, life insurance, disability, health and parking/transit FSA, and long-term care insurance plans as well as a paid parental leave policy, a 401(k) plan, an employee assistance plan, health club membership contributions and recruitment reward programs.
