Richard Heller represents real estate and hospitality clients and has over 40 years of experience advising corporations and businesses on a broad range of business and legal matters.
Of Counsel in the firm’s Real Estate Department, Rick advises clients on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. He is also a member of the firm’s Hospitality Practice Group, representing hospitality clients on a broad range of projects. Rick is also a Principal at Pineapple Hospitality Consulting Group LLC.
He previously served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel to Legal Sea Foods for 17 years. During his tenure, Rick managed relationship among lenders and landlords, negotiated leases and loan documents, developed and implemented wide-ranging operational and financial protocols and procedures to mitigate risk, and managed the company’s insurance program. Prior to joining Legal Sea Foods, Rick provided legal services to commercial lenders and emerging businesses in the hospitality, retail, and manufacturing sectors. He has also owned and operated a wine wholesale and distribution company.
