Congratulations to our client, Bartlett’s Farm, on the completion of their second ground-mounted solar installation
Congratulations to our client, Bartlett’s Farm, on the completed second phase of their two-part solar installation, making it the largest PV system on Nantucket Island. Bartlett’s Farm, known as the island’s largest and oldest family-owned farm, partnered with Dynamic Energy to complete a 1.4 MW ground-mounted solar installation as a part of the farm’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and grid reliability. The project sits adjacent to a 595 kW system that Dynamic Energy designed and constructed on Bartlett’s Farm in 2016.
The two arrays combined will offset 100% of the farm’s energy needs and will also serve as a reliable and cost-effective source of clean energy for Massachusetts. Phase 1 and 2 total nearly 2 MW of solar capacity, producing about 2.6 million kWhs of electricity annually, equivalent to providing enough clean, renewable energy for more than 7% of the island’s households.
Bethany A. Bartlett, chair of the Sherin and Lodgen’s Renewable Energy Practice Group, assisted Bartlett’s Farm in navigating the development of the second phase of the project.
Founded in 2007, Dynamic Energy is a full-service solar energy solutions provider that brings together the diverse expertise needed to design, finance, build, and maintain solar energy projects for commercial, institutional, and utility clients.
